Faith in Film is bringing exposure to faith-focused screenplays

Are you a screenwriter with a passion for faith-based projects? Do you feel that Hollywood isn’t distributing enough films with faith at the center, no matter what the religion? Faith in Film might just be the ticket to changing that and giving you the opportunity to be an agent of change.

About the contest

Faith in Film, a Cinema Public House production, presents an international screenwriting competition whose goal is to launch the careers of faith-based writers and filmmakers and to facilitate established artists in transitioning into faith-based films.

Faith in Film also aims to introduce faith-based films to mass audiences and to inspire, showcase, support, and develop writers and filmmakers of all faiths to make great faith-based films that leave others touched, moved and inspired.

It is the hope of the festival’s organizers that filmmakers and distributors will leave empowered to make and distribute more films with an element of faith added to the mix.

Name your prize

Faith in Film rewards screenwriters with various prizes, including personal introductions to at least three top talent managers and or development executives. The grand prize winner will also receive a one-hour consultation with a top talent manager or production executive with script notes.

Please note that only the Grand Prize Winner and the top two Finalists will receive industry distribution and prizes, including distribution of your script to at least ten Hollywood production companies. Semi-Finalists will only be rewarded by recognition, like most screenwriting competition formats.
