Everything we want to see in ‘Money Heist’ part 4

The global phenomenon Money Heist continues to gain new viewers on Netflix every day as it builds towards the end of the heist with part four. On April 3rd, the Professor (Alvaro Morte) and his gang are going to have to face the music of their heist on the Bank of Spain. But it’s been a long journey to get there.

After the stakes were raised in part three, and some new crew members had to follow along with the Professor’s crazy plans, we know what we want to see out of part four.

Money Heist has kept us on the edge of our seats, especially with the mid-part finale leaving the Professor to break his own moral code in the name of revenge. So with such high stakes, where else can Money Heist go?

Save Nairobi (Alba Flores)

Our dear authenticator has shown her soft spot even while being a kick-ass member of the squad. But Nairobi’s weakness in her son got the best of her, as police used her son to lure her towards a window and into the range of a sniper rifle. Many fan theories keep defending how she could survive the hit, but we don’t care about those.

After seeing Nairobi and Tokyo (Ursula Corbero) bond in the first part and how Nairobi knows how to get stuff done, we’re not ready to say goodbye. We already had to say goodbye to nearly half the team by the end of part two, so it’s too soon to lose another face.

Somehow, someway, we want to see Nairobi manage to survive this near-fatal gunshot, even if it means making a deal with police.

Lisbon/Raquel (Itziar Ituno) reuniting with the Professor

The only reason the Professor broke his moral code and had Tokyo and Rio (Anibal Cortes) fire on police is that he thought they kidnapped and killed Lisbon. From the first episode, we see that Raquel and the Professor have a unique connection that almost feels like a game of chess between the two, as they wait to see the person’s next move.

By the time the two become allies in part three of Money Heist, it works out for the best as the two work better together than apart. But just as the heist on the Bank of Spain is going well, Interpol catch onto the Professor and Raquel’s location, forcing them to split up. Raquel is initially caught by the farmers who own the barn she hides in, but then the police finally catch up to her and execute the farmers for trying to hide her.

Unfortunately, the Professor gets the gunshots mixed up, thinking Raquel was the one executed. In a lover’s act of revenge, he orders the firing on the police. But, even though it will destroy him when he figures out his revenge was for nothing, we need to see the Professor find out that Raquel is still alive. He’s too in love with her to spend all his time mourning and seeking revenge. Besides, we want to see everyone come out on top of this heist.

Palermo (Rodrigo de la Serena) finally getting over Berlin

When we were first introduced to newcomer/replacement Palermo, he was shown as a longtime friend of second-in-command Berlin (Pedro Alonso). But as part three went on, it became clear there was something more between Palermo and Berlin, whether it was one-sided or mutual.

When Nairobi reveals her feelings for Helsinki after Helsinki reveals his feelings for Palermo, Nairobi also mentions Palermo’s feelings for Berlin and how he should’ve acted on them while Berlin was still alive.

The Nairobi/Helsinki romance doesn’t look like it’s going anywhere, and it’s clear Palermo needs a partner in love on top of his partners in crime. We hope there’s some sort of happy ending in love for Palermo.

A public uprising against the rich inspired by the squad

In episode seven of part three, Rio is released from a military hospital into a crowd of protesters wearing red jumpsuits and Salvador Dali masks. It’s clear that while the police are not fans of our dear thieves, the public are huge fans. Even after actively attacking police at the end of part three, the support has yet to die down.

No one in the crew has officially taken advantage of that yet, but we’re waiting for the protests to become a key plot of part four. Money Heist was never truly a Robin Hood story, but it sure felt like it could be. By bringing in the protesters/supporters of our crew, it’s easy for creator Alex Pena to turn it into a Robin Hood-style story.

For the entire gang to escape in one piece and get away with it

Easily the most tragic part of Money Heist is watching Berlin sacrifice himself in the escape tunnel to let the rest of the gang run away with the loot. While Berlin was terminally ill and only had a little time left, that sacrifice was a guaranteed death sentence, and he wasn’t the only crew member we lost in part two.

We already explained how we want Nairobi to live through her injuries, but more importantly, we don’t want to see anyone else get hurt. Declaring an unofficial war on police is going to make it a lot harder to escape in one piece, but we know it can be done.

So much blood and carnage has been done in this war so far, and we don’t want to see the Professor break his morals any further. Of course, we still want to see the crew succeed though.

Money Heist part four hits Netflix worldwide on April 3rd.
