Love good, steamy celebrity sex scenes? Here's our selection of hot scenes that will make your temperature rise and set the sauna to overload.

Is it a sauna in here? These celebrity sex scenes are extra steamy

Let’s examine some of our favorite sex scenes in movies; but first, what makes a good sex scene? After all, some sex scenes are so hot that it’ll feel like you’ve grabbed a seat inside your gym’s sauna, minus that one awkward eighty-three-year-old who’s usually naked and staring at you. Although maybe that’s hot, too?

A lot goes into a good sex scene, including the on-screen chemistry, the setting, and the music.

And while we do appreciate a good comedic sex scene, we’re closely examining only the really steamy ones. So sorry, Melissa McCarthy & Ben Falcone, even though that scene during the end credits of 2011’s Bridesmaids was hilarious, we’re currently not interested in any “hungry bears”.

Also disqualified (by obligation, not by choice) is the wonderful yet disturbing sex-filled scenes from MacGruber, Showgirls, and Team America: World Police. Funny? Yes. Full of sex? Absolutely. Steamy? If voted ‘yes’, please leave this page and find help as soon as you can.

We’re looking for scenes so hot, you’ll melt faster than the Sonic the Hedgehog ice cream bar you bought from your neighborhood ice cream truck – bonus points if it likes to play Christmas music from their truck in the middle of June.

So let’s dive into things as deep as some of our choice scenes.

Black Swan

For those who find the ballet boring, trust us, it’s never been sexier.

2010’s Black Swan, directed by Darren Aronofsky, tells the story of a ballerina (Natalie Portman) whose life is controlled by her passion for the dance, driving her into a twisted friendship with a rival dancer (Mila Kunis) as the two compete for the titular role in their production of Swan Lake.

As Portman’s character begins to mentally distance herself from what’s real and what isn’t, she eventually fantasizes herself having a romantic juncture with Kunis.

As the two make out, Kunis eventually goes down on Portman in a scene dominated by moans, long pauses in breath, and camera movement so quick that we the audience feel the blood rush through our body almost as quick as the characters themselves.

Queen & Slim

The film tells the story of Slim (Daniel Kaluuya) and Queen (Jodie Turner-Smith), a couple whose first date takes an unexpected turn after an incident with a police officer, forcing the two to go on the run as the media labels them “cop killers”.

After much angst, fear, and anger, both Queen & Slim let out their emotions, including their feelings for one another with a hot sex scene in their getaway car. Of course, any car-related sex scene can be steamy, as 1997’s Titanic showed us.

By this point in the film, we’re all in on the couple’s journey, including this sexy scene that will elevate your heart rate faster than Queen & Slim’s getaway car.

A sexy swimming lesson goes DEEP into the deep end . . . if you catch what I’m throwing at you.

Actors Jesse Bradford & Erika Christensen go all the way in this steamy scene, complemented with reflective water and dark blue color tones. It’s an innocent, benign scene until we learn the true motives behind Christensen’s obsessive character.

So the next time you and your lover decide to take things in the water, be sure to take notes from Swimfan, and see that at least one of you is a good swimmer, first.

Risky Business

While there are plenty of corny things in this scene, there’s indeed something ironic & iconic about Tom Cruise & Rebecca De Mornay’s sexy scene where they do the dirty on a fast-moving train, all while the deed itself takes place in slow motion for their audiences.

The scene kicks off perfectly as the two give in to foreplay, making out as Phil Collins’ “In the Air Tonight” plays before sneaking away and giving us, as well as each other, a steamy scene that derails its viewers and takes us from the fun and into the sun.

Now that’s hot.
